# AO Map Opacity Guide

Alongside the Paint Overlay Pack and Livery Rotation Guide, this list of AO Map Opacity values has been tuned very specifically to get an exact hex color on the primary parts of the cars.

Despite what plenty of people say; even if it makes no sense; your AO Map should go ABOVE all decal and paint layers. See here:\

Most of these AO Maps are done by Cartres which means *consistency* which is why all of these percentages are the SAME.

For vehicles that either don't have an AO map or don't have a *good* AO map, I reccomend making a solid black layer on top of all layers and choosing  an opacity between 13-20%.
